I am an Assistant Professor at the Texas Tech University Department of Physics and Astronomy . I also have close ties to NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS).
My research interests focus on time domain astronomy and extragalactic astrophysics.
Before working at Texas Tech, I was a researcher at the MIT Kavli Institute.
Before working at MIT, I was a graduate student at the Ohio State University.
Before studying at OSU, I was an undergraduate student at St. John's College in Sante Fe, NM, which is known for its unique great books program. I was also an intern at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago.
